Allison (1891). . Some researchers believe Stevenson based the shanty on an actual song. With several Jolly Roger's (pirate flags) to choose from we chose the flag of Calico Jack, he was an English pirate captain during the early 18th century. Why? well look at it - its seriously bad ass :)
