Woodysandal Eau de Parfum is composed around a soft and creamy sandalwood essence, getting along well with the fruity depth of the blackcurrant lecule. With a fragrance name like a gentle pleonasm – since sandalwood comes from wood –, Hermetica denstrates its unwavering attachment to trees and shrubs filled with olfactory possibilities. SANDAL: essence of New Caledonian sandalwood, sustainably grown, is the centrepiece of the composition. Its soft and creamy presence embraces the fruity depth of the blackcurrant lecule and the alndy voluptuousnessof Tonka bean oil to form a happy union. Hermetica is a collection of lecular fragrances inspired by the ancient practice of alchemy, which sought to transform basic metals into precious materials and to find the ultimate elixir of life. Applying these practices to dern day perfume-making, Hermetica is based on the belief that finding the perfect perfume relies on the chemical connection between the lecules within a fragrance and one’s skin. In their quest for the ultimate perfume elixir, Hermetica founders John and Clara lloy decided to create a lutionary collection by not choosing between natural ingredients or synthetic lecules but using a combination of the two.
